US Development Academy Update

SCSA is one of only 4 clubs in NC, and 64 clubs in the USA to have been accepted into the new US Development Academy. The Development Academy concept is a comprehensive program designed to improve the development of elite players by providing improved competition, training for players, coaches, and referees as well as scouting by the US National Team and coaches. The program is currently only on the boys side and is in two age groups 91’s, U16’s and 89’s, U18’s.
Both teams have a long road trip this weekend to Columbus, Ohio.
All info on the US Development program can be found on our website or on www.ussoccer.com

Communication

ALWAYS ON MY UPDATES
It is the key to our continued success.  I brought this to the attention of everyone last year and I want to continue to stress the importance of good communication between our members, managers, coaches, directors and myself. We had our first coaches meeting of the year last week, and we continued to stress the importance of our staff being active listeners if any problems occur and communicate with their teams on the progress of players and the team in general. Good communication is a major part of continued success here at SCSA. Please keep communication lines open with managers, parents, coaches and Directors. If you have any issues relating to your team and need assistance please do not hesitate to contact your respective DOC. They are full time employees and are here for you as a member of this association.
Have a good week
Brad
